Pick 5 cartridges that are "must have" in your safe, range, field, etc...

Interesting.... Kind of reinforces the dilemma I had in not "needing" the .257.....

You could pretty much take out the .308 and the .243 and drop in the 7x57 and the Bob for Ontario..... It's nice not having to change she'll holders in your press...... Lol

I could easily go either;

12 gauge
20 gauge
.243
.308
.358

"Or"

12 gauge
20 gauge
.257 Roberts
7X57 Mauser
9.3X62 Mauser

I would prefer to have a .223 or .22/250 AND a .22 LR in those sets, but I could live without them... luckily, I don't have to live without them, but I am down to loading for only ten cartridges, plus shotguns and rimfire... so that is pretty good.

Once I obtain the .358, I will be at 8......... That being said, I consider my .338 redundant....... But I like it so it stays for now.....

I don't bother reloading shotgun, and have .410/22 and 2 in 12 gauge..... With a good waterfowl shotgun on the list..... As well as a 20 gauge sxs......

Even at 41, I am trying to build something that can be split in two for my boys with lots of good memories attached......

12 gauge
.22lr
.243Win
.375H&H
.45-70

Little or no overlap of utility. I could actually have left out the .45-70, but since we're allowed 5 choices, I put it in strictly because I love it!

.357 Mag/.38 SPL
.22 LR
12 Ga
7.62 x 39
.45 ACP

Almost everyone listed .22LR. Somebody should invest in a .22 ammo factory here. Standard, high and hyper velocity and some match ammo.
