All get the job done, well.

For handloading only: 32-20. I can make it exceed 30 Carbine power levels or light loads for antique revolvers. Accurate and versatile. Also shoots in my BSA Australian Cadet, what's not to love? :)

12 gauge

But in reality, wouldn't want to be without these either;

.257 Roberts
7X57 Mauser
.358 Win
20 gauge

And would prefer a few other's for spice and flavour...

270Win
35Whelen

The North American 270Win and 35Whelen could be replaced with the 7x57 and 9.3x62 for the Euro touch.

It's fun. We all have opinions and it's cool to learn why.

.17HMR - like a .22, just better
Something 6.5 (.260 or x47) - good for light game, accurate, not hard on the shoulder or the wallet
.308 - they're EVERYWHERE!!
.338LM - loooong range and nasty game
12g - super versatile.
