picked up 3 sweet S & W @ local gunshow

Plant 'em in Wendy Cukier's back yard, under the chrysanthemums. Then call the police and a TV news crew.

@oldrodder: Yes, the grips look relatively OK. I wonder if they could be restored.

Hell no, make or buy a nice wood plaque and mount them to it, that wood look awesome.

I wonder if they could be preserved by being encapsulated into a clear resin block? I have no clue how it is done, but it would look awesome. Here is an example:

Might even be able to do it at home.

My wife made a 3ft dia table layed out with pennies(since they became useless). The top was filled with acrylic resin. Looks great!

The resin block is a cool idea. Very easy to do. I made a pen holder in Gr7 the same way.

Weird how they didn't salvage any parts aside from maybe the cylinder before torching them. The hammer alone would be worth more than you paid for them.

Home Depot has the resin, we did a top on our bar with beer caps. Very easy to work with and I like the idea of putting the guns in it, would freeze them in time
