Picked up a bit of a rare beauty last night

Those are amazing little pistols this one was one of my first handgun purchases made back in the 90s was always a solid and accurate shooter and ate any kind of ammo I fed it

This one looks like it will have trouble feeding the Winchester FMJ's the jacketed soft points seem to work, more of a rounded nose, the flat point on the fmj drives it right in between a tiny flat spot between the feed ramp and the chamber, I don't want to remove any material because then I would be creating an unsupported chamber at the bottom and risk a blow out. Thought about trying to change the feed angle of magazine, but once the slide comes forward and the flat part of the shell base contacts the flat part of the breech face it pushes the mag follower down and not longer contacts the feed lips on the mag, a conundrum for sure.
The FMJ is $4-6 cheaper a box than most of the other stuff so it would be nice to get it to work properly.

the 22 mag was made in 3 lengths, I had a couple the short one, 4 in I think ,and the middle size. Never found a long slide like this one.
You have a small fortune just in the mags .
Ammo feed is really the only problem, one was real fuzzy, other one a bit better, hot hard point ammo is the best, Fed was not great, but it has been a few years now.
If I remember, the triggers are not great on them.
Last one I sold was $1k, that was 12-6
Never has the 44.

The .22 mag firing pins are easy to break. Don't dry fire these. First thing to do for you kids out there is take out the original pin, make a precise sketch and make a spare.
They are interesting, but very fussy with ammo.
