Yep!! just hope to get the .223 running right, And There Both CSA vz58'sSweet! Would love one in 7.62x39 to go with the 556 same as you, just because.
Nice. I'm considering this move as well. What issues have you been having with the 5.56 version?
Firing pin broke and was repaired rather fast, But i cant get it to run well its stove piping, and It tore a casing in half left ejected and chambered the next round and jammed into the other half of the ejected round because of this i intend to get a bit of red paint on there so i can see the open bolt a bit more clearly.........and don't get me started on the mag well adapter wow... but i hold out hope that a fix for both issues will be found there cool firearms and i would love to enjoy both
I was having similar problems. You may want to call North Sylva if you can't get it running. Might be a frustrating phone call though...
Glad to hear that the 7.62x39 ran well! Mine is in the mail. I hope it is trouble free too!
Ben
they know of the issue, but im not sending them my riffle until i have proof that there is a fix for these issues both with the firearm and the mag well adapter i will not accept another faulty rifle to just have to start over!! either the rifle will be repaired and the mag well will run 10 round mags or i want a refund or a trade up to a 7.62x39, i did find something odd or at least looks odd to me maybe due to a lack of knowledge, when i broke down both fire arms side by side the small hook just under the bolt carrier on the .223 is flooded with weld where the 7.62x39 is free of weld and even has a small recess around it............i can try to take some pics and maybe someone can enlighten me
7.62x39 free of weld and recessed

.223 flooded with weld and not recessed in fact it sits higher, is this normal?

The large part next to the magazine catch safety pin......i can try better pics with a pencil pointed to where the issue seems to beCan you circle or describe better which part is "flooded with weld"? I can't tell by looking at your pic.
