So I went to the Waverly gun show today (Nova Scotia) in search of a small single shot .22 rifle for my youngest son and came home with this. Price tag was $225. Overall in really nice shape. Very strong clean rifling. The rifling seems a lot deeper then my 10/22. Anyway I have heard the name Anschutz before and only ever heard nice things. The price of this one was in line with the cooeys and Mossbergs of the same style and overall condition so I went with this one. Anyway Wondering what you guys think? Anyone know anything about this? There is no model number written on it. I tried to do a little googling and think it may be a pre 1958 model 1360. Seems to be the closest match I can come up with.

It is probably an Anschutz 1363, one of the 1360 series. The 1360 evidently had a number of .22 cartridges designated (.22S, L, LR), whereas the 1363 evidently just had .22 Long Rifle stamped on it as yours does.

These were inexpensive Anschutz rifles built on the Flobert I action and discontinued, I believe, in the early 1980s. For what it's worth, here's an exploded view:
