Picked up an interesting Enfield sporter

The sound of a 303 bullet hitting a steel plate is one of shooting's great sounds, hit it with a 556 and you get 'tink, tink, tink' hit it with a 303 and it sounds like a vengeful God's personal hammer. The 303 is one of life's great pleasures.
 
Guns are meant to go BANG and bigger guns are meant to kick - that's the way of things.

I don't have a moderator or a muzzle brake an any of mine...and that's the way they are staying. Mind you, either would look pretty stupid on a Snider or an 1861 .58cal muzzleloading carbine, let alone a High Wall.
