Just picked this up from another CGNer. I've owned several M39's in the past, but this is my first post-war "no maker" M39. It's finn matching and made of a mix of parts from several makers, new post-war stock, and a 1904 Izhevsk receiver. But the bore is as-new, mirror bright and it's built as well as any M39, so it should shoot like a laser beam with handloads.

It's floated up to the front band, where it makes some contact. The receiver and trigger guard are shimmed from the factory, so it was acurized. The bore is .310".

Same with my 1944 sako 4 shims under the receiver and barrel touches the front band. Awesome shooter tho.
