I picked up my M&P9 range kit last week, pretty happy! Gave it a quick clean and lube tonight, ready for the range if I can find a bit of spare time this week. Statt was issued quick, paid for it on Wed. picked it up on Fri. Just a heads up, Lever arms has an M&P sale on till Oct 4th. $575 for the M&P9 range kit, pretty damn good price. Here's a couple pics.

I really enjoy mine. I'm sure you will as well. Over a good choice an the price is awesome, I got mine for $629.00 last spring.

Looking forward to a range report.

$527 is a smoking deal from Wanstalls!

Yeah a range report will happen for sure, looking forward to putting some rounds through it. Is there any brand of ammo your m&p really likes or dislikes? I picked up a couple boxes of 9mm blazer, the aluminum cased. Was decently priced and I'm not at the reloading stage yet.

Yeah I ordered one a couple weeks ago too from SFRC....goddamn Wanstalls would have saved me some $$$ lol about $50.

Mine is not fussy with ammo. I do find that some ammo is dirtier than others and requires extra cleaning. Blazer is the ammo that I like. UMC ammo in bulk is fine but in my opinion a bit dirtier.

Good purchase. I own both the regular M&P and the 5" M&P CORE. Both excellent guns.

I have yet to find ammo that my M&P doesnt like, with the rare exception of Flat Nose rounds under very specific circumstances. Basically anything will work fine.

I also picked up an M&P range kit in 9mm. Got it from Milarm here in Edmonton. Was on sale for $593+tax. That was the cheapest I had seen it anywhere until I saw the wanstalls sale this week! (did see it at $550 earlier this year at TSE as well.)

Got mine home, stripped it, and lubed it up with hoppe's no9 and some grease on the rails. Ran about 200 rounds or so through it on Tuesday and ran like a champ. Not a single FTF/FTE at all. Was using CCI blazer brass and Remington UMC 115gr. I need to get used to the super stiff trigger on these though. I was shooting significantly worse groups than with the PPQ or the P320. Also got a chance to fondle my friends G4 G19... sigh... my wallet will not be happy as I now MUST buy one of those!

Congrats on the new pistol now get out there and run some rounds!

I'm joining the club guys, just purchased the kit from Wanstalls for $527 :) My wife tried it during handgun training and liked it

That's a great price. How many magazines were included? I picked one up from Lever at $575, which included four magazines, along with the other goodies in the kit. It has a nice clean sight picture and groups well. The trigger feels fairly gritty, but I'm hoping it will wear in after a few hundred more rounds. I loved how it dropped the empty brass in a one metre circle just over my right shoulder - didn't have to wait for a cease fire to pick up my brass. I shoot left-handed and the pistol is adequately ambi for my needs. Great little pistol for the price.

Congrats! Wanstall has it on sale for $527.99 right now

Generally how long will it take for the new registration papers to show up? Really want to go to the range but as far as I know I need to have the registration in hand as well as my ltatt. It's already been a week, how long have you all waited for it to show up?

Mine showed up....much nicer gun then my Ruger SR9 all around, better build quality, better sights, better balance, better trigger. Trigger is a bit heavy, but it has an actual break point you can feel! The Ruger has no indication when its going to break at all.
No rattle in this thing, nice and tight, so far the smallest backstrap suits me the best....will see after a few hundred rounds. Seems like a very decent kit for the price.
