I've got a Remington 700 VSSF II in .223 & wanting to see what kind of other stocks are out there that is comfortable, wanting to get a CDL short action stock for it & pillar bed the stock for accuracy, but wanting to see what other brand name stocks are there, I'm not really a synthetic stock guy.
What are your opinion on this & what would you choose besides HS precision stocks.

What is your budget?

I have the same rifle but I like the HS Precision that it comes with and get good accuracy as well. Most stock manufactures nowadays are making stocks out of fiberglass, carbon fiber and other synthetics. Manners, Mcmillan, Bell & Carlson for stocks. If you're looking for a chassis system there are many different manufacturers that you can look at as well.

If you're looking for a wood stock, check out Boyds
