Brutus, the handsome fella in the white shirt handing out the awards is me ;-) Ron S. didn't make it to the Atlantics this year, but he has been doing some TR shooting with us.

Tom, I started the weekend with my infamous boots, and was utterly shocked when they fired an inner at 300m (first match of the first day)...! Decided then to wear my sandals, just to let the sheepers know who's boss.

hey im moving to ns from alberta and was wondering where i could get a hold of a schedule of shoots?

long and service rifle.
as well what club would u suggest for restricted and long range.
ill be in the greenwood area.

NSRA (Nova Scotia Rifle Association) has a wonderful facility in Bull Meadow, NS. 50m pistol, 100m general centerfire, plus an 800m fullbore range.

I see that the NSRA website still has the 2009 calendar of all events, and the 2009 Fullbore schedule. I don't know when the 2010 schedule will be up, but it will be largely similar.

There are also matches in PEI (on Alexandra range, one of the prettiest 600y ranges I've ever seen, just east of Charlottetown). Royal NB Rifle Association holds most of its matches on a 900m range at CFB Gagetown (that's the range in the pictures in post#1), though there is a special 300m training day event being held 15-16 May at St. Antoine gun club (just north of Moncton).

We don't have this year's fullbore schedule posted yet (shame on me, grrr....), but for reference this is 2009's:
