Ok, just wanted to share a few pictures from a hunt I went on with a couple uncles. I, personally, did not hunt, but took some pictures from a tree stand. We saw several deer and a coyote. I didn't have time to snap a pic of the coyote, but it was a fair size and probably 15 feet away from the stand.

My uncle got a shot (with his bow) off on the buck in the second pic, but missed.

Great pics! Why weren't you hunting...with that kind of action I'd figure even a PETA member could be convinced to take a shot!;)

Oh, forgot to mention. I am awaiting to take the minors course in january... PAL in a few years.

Are those great shots or what, In N.S. that sorta action is all but a dream. Great stuff. I want so bad to get my butt out to Alberta. Thanks for sharing.
That first Buck would be Archery Action at its very best.

I see. Tough wait isn't it? There are lots of deer around that area, and inside the perimeter too! Never found a place to hunt that close to home. I used to live right beside U of M. I always went to Lundar, where I had permission to hunt on private land.

Great pics ... nice to see that your uncles took you out ... love that pic thru the branches of the birds ... ;) Cheers,

Levi,

Any ideas of the #'s of deer being knocked down in N.S.?

When I left N.S. there was 22000 - 25000 deer being registered per season not includinig native hunts or jackers.
