Of course. Les Bear's famous for their Bearcoat. Is that a recent shot of it? If so, about how many rounds down range with it do you figure? I'm astounded how that barrel hood shows no signs of wear. Is the coating that tough? Those grips are really nice looking too and you can't beat the Trij Novak night sights. Where did you get it from? Did you have a long wait? Sorry for all the questions but that is one fine 1911.
How long did it take you to get your grips from "Wicked Grips" after you ordered them?? Mine took 9 months.

The design on my grips was special order. It was originally made for a US Federal Bomb Disposal unit. The little man in the grip is Guy Fawkes who was hanged in 1606 in England, because of the great gunpowder plot. He is regarded as the patron saint of the Bomb Disposal Technician.
Around 600 rounds, but like scully said wear will come! but mileage may vary sometime it shows after 1000 rounds, sometimes more!
I had to wait around 6 months but I got to choose everything on the gun!
Ronin Sport (Ontario) is the Baer distributor for Canada!
Baer is the tightest gun (1911) I have seen/handled...I still didn't strip it!![]()
I just figured go through Questar.
Have you not field stripped it and given it a good cleaning after 600 rounds or did I missunderstand what you meant about "still didn't strip it"?
So what's the Colt's story? Did it start out as a 1991? Who did the work?
