Wanted something a little different and I came up with this.I like it better than the grey that came on it.Rifle shoots good too, haven't chronoed any loads yet hopefully this week.

Some guys on here or on 24 hr campfire had some pics up and I kind of did what they suggested, degreased it,used the satin krylon fusion paint, silver webbing and satin clear coated it.Took about 2 hours.Paint dries enough for another coat in about 2 min.Hopefully it stands up good or else I will redo it.

looks like you went with the Burris Zee rings, I really like them. THe paint looks good, might fool some people into thinking its not a $350 rifle :D

Yeah, but he's topped it with some nice glass... ;) :)

It did change its appearance quite a bit..The first synthetic stocked gun I have owned..Now my neighbour wants to dress up his 223 vangaurd.I like leupolds sitting on top of my guns but this was the first time it cost more than the gun.

GOOD JOB!!!

I was thinking of painting my stevens 200 stock also, i was just worried about how the paint would hold up in the bush.

how did you do the silver webbing?

could you post a link to 24 hr campfire, where you got your suggestions.

With the silver webbing I found spraying it into the air and letting "FALL" onto the gun worked the best, but it was the first attempt at this sort of thing so I am sure some people with more exp might have better Ideas. The webbing actually gives it a real nice texture that you can feel.Neighbour wants his in a tan color with black webbing. Will post the pics when I get around to doing it.
