Am finding this post shoot follow-up gear/equip. discussion very informative. I'm that 'older gentleman'(

) .. "drag bagging" about with a few surplus gas mask bags, 'n a cheapo hard case enclosing 'Ol Fugly, the 'better shooter than it's aimer is' 6.5mm bubba'd contraption.
Not the ideal accessories, eh!. LoL!.
However, at this advanced stage of geriatric decrepitude, one does get somewhat set in his ways. Alas ... those ways, they just dont work.
Can't afford me a better gun/scope anytime soon, but, damn sure will be pack'n baggage more hy-tec-ly, next I see y'all at a Hungry shoot !!!.
Want to thank chaulk and his club once again, for making possible the seducing of me sorry arse back out to a proper CF range, ... after all these years.
How long has it been?.
Borden. SRSA. FA's and full cap. 7.62's... Bren, Mg 34/42, MP40, FAL C1 and G3/HK91's aplenty.
Day/night shoots on reactive targets, para-flares. Tracer mayhem at night.
And, the 1000y walk down shoot. Reloads on the march. ... as many rounds for score as you could get off in 20 sec's., ... 'cept'n at 1000 & 900, they were 20 rounds for score in 5 min... very deliberate!.
Good times!!!.
Excuse the O/T ramblings, as the Pet shoot has re-awakened old coot passions. Your fault Barney Ha Ha Ha.
Aiming to attend the ORA spring tune-up shoot at Borden. The same bunch, plus a few more ambitious punters from the local crew. Hope to see some of you guys again.
Thanks Barney. Me was smiling on the lead up to your shoot ... been smiling ever since.
