MORE PICS ON PAGE 6.

Here's some pics of the new shipment of M14s. I had a chance to put a box trough and it seems to shoot pretty good. This is my first one so I don't have anything to compare it to but it's better then I thought it would be.

It's fiberglass.

I didn't have any tools with me and the screw was loose on the elavation side. It would adjust up but the screw would loosen when I tried to put it back down.

What does that say on the side of the receiver? Looks like BELL LIFESTYLE.CA? What is that? The stock looks like 'fibreglass' in the same way as ATI stocks are 'fibreglass', ie fibre-impregnated moulded nylon-like polycarbonate. Doesn't look like the laid resin-based fibreglass of the old USGI stocks. That might be why they would need the liner, to account for the natural flex of the softer material.

Bell Distributing in Mississauga, ON. You will see nothing but naturopathic products on their website.

They have sold Norinco products (mostly SKS & .22s, some of the early import shotguns) since the 80s. Canada's unknown distributor.

Well that's a strange approach to marketing - permanently engrave a rifle with a reference to a website plugging cures for old folks' urinary problems.

They also distribute broadheads and other archery equipment!

Bell distributors is a global marketting corporation with all kinds of products. They have a sporting goods side which deals heavily in fishing equipment and a healthy selection of shooting sports equipment. Being a former marketting manager and head purchasing agent for a major sporting goods/fishing retailer here in B.C. , I've had the pleasure of perusing many a Bell distributors catalog ;)
They are a solid company with an excellent reputation and track record as far as my dealings with them in the sports fishing industry.
I also note that it appears the rifle is stamped POLY not norinco...... am I reading it right or are my eyes failing even more than normal hehehe

theres two for sale in halifax right now. im tempted to get another one, dont ask me why. im trying to justify the need for two M-14s

I see "Poly" as well.

A little O.T.: Bell use to sell firearms and ammunition directly out of their store on Peppermill Court in Mississauga. I use to make a point of dropping by back in the day. They were one of the first companies to offer Italian single action handguns and revolving rifles. I use to pick up a brick or two a Aquila .22 rimfire ammo and Polish Olympic brand shotgun ammo whenever I was near. Too bad the store went all "new aged"
