The poly's are still imported in from China, so no go on the border crossing.

no, just a really old one -i'll post when i get a camera - but for now, there's a trw, an h&r, and a springy- these were 300 roughly a piece back then- and we could hunt with them too

Well, if they are real M14 (prohib's), and not semi-auto sporterized versions, then hunting will be a bit of a problem.....

EVERYWHERE= TRW , H&R' winchester AND SPRINGFIELD m14 are PROHIBIT CLASS 12(3) -unless it's a chinese or built up on one of the receivers like a lrb or something, it's a safe queen at this moment- if harper ever gets going on this and "clarifies" things- we live in FAINT HOPE

had my new Poly out at the range today...shot as well as the 2 Norinco's I had, still the fit and finish is not as nice as my Springfield ..but for what I paid you won't hear me complain....I left the factory stock at the store (snagged a even better deal)...I did not like it, still pretty cheap in my opinion, I put mine in a USGI FG

Does the Poly M14 fit well in the USGI stock? Nice and tight? I ask because the Poly stocks are too small for Norc. recievers, suggesting that the Poly's could be abit thinner for fit.

YES the Poly M14 will drop right INTO the USGI M14 Glass stock without any hitches.

OTOH, the Norc M14 barreled action had a tougher time fitting into the Poly M14 (black) stock. Yes the liner is in place. My guess is that the liner might need some hand filing to get it to fit in there.
