I have a huge issue with this. If you know what you are looking for it can help. But Google brings up what people label things, which is not always correct. And often brings up several things that are close, but still different.

As has been said, I have a hard time believing anyone doesn't have access to a digital camera. Any cell phone bought in the last 7 years has a camera.
The pole pretty much says it, almost 90% won't even read the post if no pictures. We live in a world of instant gratification.

But even then I want to see it regardless.
No pics ranks up there with people asking new prices for their used items, or more even. I don't care if you bought it 3 minutes before listing and you are drop shipping it from the retailer right to me, it is used.

Agreed plus see my post!

I said "hell yes", but I will add a caveat:

Should the seller actually include a written description that is detailed and thorough, I may read on. The combination of good, in focus, well lighted photos, and a thorough description, is what will sell it for me.

I voted the "Hit the back button"

Only because There was no "I care about not seeing pictures... but I still will ask for some if Im interested"

My problem is Im somewhat new to the gun thing (5 years +/- ) and I know the common stuff Im into (ARs/CZs/XCR/Tavor, etc) but when I see "Remington 1234" I have to search as to what exactly the "numbered" gun looks like.

And Pictures speak a thousand words.

To me they say, the seller isn't lazy. If he's too lazy to post a picture (even one of "looks like this") then what will he treat the transaction like.

*edit* I too have bought some expensive items on impulse, and nothing helps but pictures.. (example my ACOG scope heh)
