Pics up! 1967 T series FN High Power Chrome?!?

I jumped on a chrome high power recently, here's the thing. 1967 T series, fixed sights, blued trigger, ring hammer, finish looks original. I know that FN had the Hard Chrome model in the 80s but this one is for sure NOT. I know there is a chance it was chromed after purchase but like I said the finish looks original because aftermarket usually looks "thick" and somewhat rounded on the edges and often covers visible dings. I don't have it in hand yet but want to know of others with 60s vintage chromed models or any knowledge of such. Cheers.

Almost certainly an aftermarket job from what I know of BHP history.

That's what I initially thought until I found one reference to some factory plated 1968s. Trying to find the post again. Will know more when I get it.

To the best of my knowledge, the only factory applied nickel plating was done for the Renaissance engraved models (Hi-Power, 1910 .380, Baby Browning .25), the 1978 Centennial special edition and ~6000 Hi-Powers from 1980 to 1986 (both fixed & adjustable sights w/gold-plated trigger).

Finally arrived, beautiful! Can't tell if chrome or Cerakote. Doesn't look thick enough to be Cerakote and then there's the polished flats of the slide. Also there is a "Z" stamp on the left side of trigger guard in front of the trigger (not visible in pic). The front of the magazine is stamped Belgium 9mm NATO/Luger. Would like to hear theories. Here she is....

And the screws aren't buggered!!! More pics with the new grips. no sign of blueing anywhere yet. The finish must have been done many years ago because the old wrap around grips had hardened grease and oil sticking them to the frame. Did an awesome job in protecting the front and back straps though!
