Picture of New HP 9

Street Sweeper would be my guess, that was siezed along with the SPAS-12's and other nasty items the government took out of legitimate gun owners hands without compensation.

One of my friends has exactly the same problem: he wants to put a Remington Police folding stock on his 14" HP-9 but fears it will go under 26" folded.
Perhaps equipping its barrel with a silver-soldered breaching device would get the length up to legal length?
Maybe Casey Brewer from Tac-Ord could tell us. I've found this on his site:

Unfortunately, I don't have the thread handy. I'll search myself, and perhaps if Mod wishes, a sticky can be made so people don't find themselves in a jam with unknowledgeable LEOs(the laws are double speak enough on their own for enthusiasts let alone LEOs who often don't care to take note).

Knoxx Spec Ops folder is one of few factory stocks that will work on a 14" 870/HP9-1 without issue.

The original LE Remington folder is too short. Apart from it being uncomfortable, one would have to add something to the end with some drilling(+screwing on a piece) mods to make it 26" OAL.

GOTO http://canadiangunnutz.com/forum/showthread.php?t=183407&highlight=folding+stock this gunnutz solved the problem by welding a chain link to the back of a BUTLER CREEK SIDE FOLDING STOCK to make up the missing inch or two , then used the link as a sling point.

Guys... PLEASE take the time to educate others in the community... This thread went south in record time and NO ONE even tried to set the record straight. As far as I understand, these short shotguns are completely legal as long as...

(1) it is a manufactured barrel length
(2) it is not made shorter by collapsing or folding

Anyone else have the specifics??? Please post, it helps to educate others and not divide us. I know it's like a broken record sometimes, but we have to take it upon ourselves to EDUCATE...

Cheers
Jay

That's the way it should be, intentions and all, I agree, but some people are like a dog I used to have. He didn't want to learn, I didn't want to teach him. We got along just fine. :D
