She drew a antlerless mule deer tag in a zone I will be drawing for antlered mule deer next year. It was a great way to get out and explore new country and meet new landowners. This was her first deer and she made A great 200 yard shot off the bipod. She was shooting a model 7 in 7mm08 120gr ttsx.
On a side note, I've never seen so many big mule bucks before. I've taken two 170 class mule deer before and the two biggest I seen would dwarf them. We watched one for 15 minutes at 80 yards and lookING at the pictures with some scoring guru's the one should net book as a 4x4 plus brows.
