I started the day early. I drove all over, talking to new landowners and checking out properties for cute and cudlys. I finally found a place that was crawling with dogs. I went in, introduced myself and they practically told me to get to work. I lost track of how many gophers I shot, but the little Browning got a good workout. It was my first gopher shoot with it and it did well. On long shots with the open sights I was averaging 3 shots per kill, and I wen't through most of a brick of shells. But the weather was beautiful, the scenery gorgeous and the people friendly. I also got to watch a stampede of cattle after they got unloaded off a cattle truck and thundered by the car. I even made a new friend of the horse variety.

Here's some scenery and what not. Nothing too graphic, I only took a few kill shots.

I was right, your day in the field was better than my day in the classroom. But at least I have my ATT on the way now, and I did get to do some shooting. :D

nice shooting

The only way you can be a better shot than me is by starting like a month before I can even see bare ground. I went for a drive today and didn't even see a blade of grass. still like 1 foot of snow left on everything. But I will still show you up at the ghopher shoot.. you'll see,

and by the way awesome pics..
