Well guys, here are the pictures, taken on my loading bench, prior to ensonsing it in my solid locking gun room!
After my posting last night where I said I was talking to this fellow on the phone, and trusted him. I said the fellow stated it had never been issued to the troops. Some of you doubted this, so what do you think now, that you can look at some pictures.
A couple of you said to act fast, so how about this. I had a rifle he wanted, this Swede was to be half payment for it. We stated prices on the phone, before either of us had seen the other.
He came to my house with the Swede, we traded and he paid me. Ten minutes later each was registered in the new owners name! He stated he sure liked dealing with me and I returned the compliment.
Note the second picture. It is under the raised up sight. That appears to be original grease still smeared on it. There was also some on the magazine carrier, but I wiped it off, before I thought of what it appeared to be.
The last digits of the s/n are everywhere, from the butt plate to the front barrel band.
I have a close up of the disc in the butt. If anyone can figure out the code from it, let me know and I will send it to you.
