Awesome. I had one on my trail cam a few years back. It got killed when hit by a car a couple weeks after I got a pic of it.

I am going back to the mid 90's we had a 6 point on our property and he was not to be shot. For about 6 or so years later we started to see 1/2 a dozen or so from just a few odd white patches to almost all white
There is one for sure not far from our home we seen last fall now but it has been years since we seen any after that 90's run of them
Cheers

Interesting how people seem to naturally want to protect mutants from getting harvested. I think they should be selectively and intentionally removed, not protected. The piebald and albino deer certainly are interesting, but normal deer are brownish grey coloured for a good reason.

I know that deer... I have seen it a few times. What is more interesting is that doe is about eight years old, the past three years she has had twins and each year one of the fawns has been piebald.

Is it just me or does that thing look like it has a really large tail?

As for shooting, I'm indifferent, if it was in season I'd shoot it but I'm not going to go out of my way to target it specifically to remove it from the gene pool.

We had a white moose here that generated tons of dollars into a small rural community from people coming in from near and far to see him which happened on a regular basis since it was dam near tame and hanging around town. Many times we make the trip to get pics of him
Then some idiot shot it and I hope he gets every curse the first nations people put on him. Many could have killed him over the years but would not
Cheers
