HI Sean, The action should handle the ai mags with no problem.

One gets the impression from that answer that he's never actually tried the AW mag in the action and is unaware of the differences (AI makes both the AW and AICS mags, but they are not the same). It's unlikely to work with them if the mag cutout and feed ramps weren't designed for it.

You are correct he has not tried them. He told me it is an identical cutout as a 700.

Yes too bad...I am going to dig around to see about other options.

Rem 700 front bases will work and talley rings as well.

The export permit is complete and the first action has been shipped. It was rush that was already completed and on the shelf, just waiting for more product now.

even with no firearms business license you can import a action or many actions (just pay an importer) and then sell them to others,

most who do this just place an order for say 2 actions and let 1 importer do his thing and then transfer the 2nd action to your friend, (provided he has paid you )

I've sold about 10 so far. Mostly positive feedback. One action needed the threads for the scope mount cleaned up a bit, other then that nothing. I have one for myself and am very happy with it.

Long action repeater. I have only brought in a long action single shot so far. It is on the EE for sale right now. Takes a bit more time for the first one in a new version since they need to make a new entry for it but not too bad time wise.
