Ever owned an AR7?Any chance you could post a picture stripped . ie; action out of the stock , trigger group & barreled receiver, Also is the barrel removable from the receiver ?
I'd buy one if the drums worked better.
Its a great rimfire IMO. Its very short and you can really feel a "recoil" that nice for a .22, it has some punch
Drum mag is nice but jams frequently. They come with 30 rounds mag I think, better get 2 of those, they are fully made of metal, no jams there. A friend let me use it for 2 weeks, didn't want to give it back afterIt was the wood stock version.
Great choice!
the drum mag will fire without jams (assuming the metal one, not the plastic black dog) but you have to use plated round nose bullets. any of the plain lead and hollow points jam
I had the "synthetic" stock version. It made the rifle look and feel toy like.
The wood stock looks so much better and the added heft would be welcomed.
The factory metal drum worked with very few failures to feed, provided you find the "right" ammo for it.
My only complaint was the lame loading tool and the amount of time it took to load 50 rnds.

Hey johNTO,
The loading tool sucks, I loaded my drum last night and it took me 3-1/2 minutes to load 50 rounds in it. Its ok for me as for the time frame is concern but now I need to find out if the reliability will be there while firing those 50 rounds.

It was the metal one with cheap Win555 hollowpoints bulletsMaybe that's why I had so many jams. Anyone should get the 30 rds straight mag too, easier in winter to load. You need a table to load the drum mag because you need to remove a cover.
are you at CTVSP or CRAFM??
Cheers
