Had a chance to handle one with the synthetic stock the other day.
Nice little gun but kinda barrel heavy.

What surprised me was how cheaply the stock was made. The mould line was not trimmed close to the stock & the flash that was left was very sharp!
The plastic also was very thin. I would not want to drop it for fear of breaking.

I think the would stock would be the better platform to buy. IMO.

Well,,,in a nutshell here's the story,,,,,, sorry to hi-jack this thread but its goggles_pizzano's fault,,,,,From Portland OR and north to the Islands in ancient times was the burial ground for aaaallllllllll the Unicorns in the world, their bones are deep in the ground,,,, and our well water mingles with their magicalness, that's why west coasters are such wonderful people,,, anyway,,,, every now and then above one of their graves a cupcake bush will sprout up and flower delicious cupcakes and that is where I dig to add to my collection,,,you asked,,,lol

I've got one with the wood stock, looks great and balances it out much better then the synthetic. The 50rd drum takes forever to load and finding the ammo that it likes to feed took some doing but is worth it. I find I don't use the banana mag very much, when I do it feeds perfectly but it takes almost as long to load as the drum.

Think I'm going to but a bi-pod on her and see how she looks. ;)

Any range reports on these units ?
Marstar has a youtube vid on one with the synth.stock and it looks rather short and awkward to the shooter.
But the vid also shows a "Wildcat" adjustable stock that looks alot more interesting

What ammo does it like?

I'll second the range report request. I'm expecting 10/22 sort of accuracy and if it does better I'll be thrilled. I've noticed the pricing varies considerably depending on how the rifle is delivered;10 round, 30 round, 50 round magazines, and sometimes combinations of the three.

What about the cheaper bulk pac ammo?

The Winchester 333 paks don't feed worth a damn, jams every second or third shot. The Federal 525 paks work good with the banana mag but the 50rd drum hates em...

Cheap = No Feed
CCI = Good Times :)
