Pietta PPS 50

Had one a couple years ago. The "loading" tool wasn't a good design and while the 50rnd drum looked cool it took forever to load. It functioned fine with few failures. I had the synthetic stock version which felt very toy-like(light and small) and sounded hollow.
If you're dead set on getting one look for the wood stock version.

I got one with the 50rnd Drum mag and like johnto said the loading tool is more of a pain then anything, as well I'm having a problem with the drum mag seems like every second round jams apparently all it takes is grinding it down a bit. Other then that it seems like once it gets going its a fun gun for plinking.

I just got the pps 50 with the wooden stock a few weeks ago. The gun feels good, but my first trip to the club with it wasn't good. First had light strikes and it would not fire. then started to work It would not feed or eject I was using the 30 round stick mag. I was shooting it quick. 200 hundred rounds and it was working not to bad. The second time out. I just got a new drum mag. The steel one. It's not all that bad to load with the tool, I found this on google http://legacysports.com/pdf/PUM_PPS50_Load%20Assist%20Inst.pdf
It had one FTE with 50 round drum mag and a few with the stick mag. I stripped it down and gave it a good cleaning I will be taking it to the club to try it again and will let you know. It just needs some break in time. Well I hope. I was uing Federal Bulk high velociy ammo maybe I might try something else. I like the gun and all good reviews on it. It sure looks cool with that drum mag.

i have one with a drum, it works great, if well maintained it works flawlessly..
And the loader is fine, you just have to now how to hold it properly, i can load 50rds. in under two minutes..

Unfortunately, i have to sell mine to pay for some other project.. :(
