Couldn't figure it out but found the reason I believe. The transfer bar safety would seem to catch on the bottom of the firing pin locking up the works. I removed it and doubt it will happen again. Now as in the U.S. where they can carry I would load only 5rds but we can't so can't see it as being a safety issue at the range. Ah well, it was a good try but wrong. The hammer won't strike the firing pin without the safety bar. Gotta put it back in.
