Pillar Bedding

Is it advisable to contour the top of the pillars (rounded Rem 700 action) to "fit" the action, or do you usually compensate with the glass bedding?
How do you make the fit snug?

You can do it either way, the glass makes the fit perfect and should be done last as a "skim bed".
