I couldn't resist buying a Little Badger, especially in .22WMR
Sort of like a little puppy dog I just had to take home.
My wife just heaved a weary sigh in the gun shop and asked..."Why?"
To which I replied, "No..the question really is - Why Not?"
Once I got it out I was amazed at the light, crisp trigger.
Surprisingly accurate also.
The ultimate emergency survival gun although I don't expect to have to survive any emergencies any time soon.
I was so impressed with the little thing I decided to accessorize.
Longshot Manufacturing in NJ is the premier manufacturer of Little Badger do-dads.
I have installed,
Cabela's "Tactical" red dot,
Longshot aluminum top rail, (very important - the stock one is a plastic joke),
Longshot pistol grip, muzzle thread protector, and rounded hand guard - all made from delrin.
I removed the now unneeded front sight and put on a .22 tube-type sling swivel mount.
A buddy designed and 3D printed a rear swivel mount to fit on the wire stock.
I will see how durable it is - he claims it should hold up fine.
I have the CAD file so perhaps I can interest Longshot in making it out of delrin or aluminum.
The best part is that it fits nicely in a small "hydration" pack.
My own little Day of the Jackal rig..LOL
Very happy with my Little Friend but I shudder to think what I have into it.
For sheetsngiggles I am getting one in 9mm Flobert.
Apparently they will break clays at 20m
Should be fun....
