You may have modify the followers in order to fit 10 rounds into the Lar mags after installing the plates as an FYI.

I suew BFG 10 speed mag pouches, the elastic holds the mag in place and doesn't let it fall down in the pouch.

You can also just put something in the bottom of a standard AR mag pouch to keep the LAR from slipping down.

Just carry a jar of paint thinner and a rag with you to the range.

LAR mags were made with a different profile than rifle mags. This was done on purpose so the RCMP would not just say they were exactly the same as rifle mags and prohibit them or pin them to 5. Hold one up against any rifle mag and aside from any length difference you will see a different profile. Easily identified when you know what to look for.

Interesting, after reading the RCMP letter I thought something like this maybe the case. Thanks for the info.
