Lets see your tact'd out SR 22's...I dont have any pics of mine yet..thats because I haven't picked it up yet..(still in school half way across the country)..but I have a nice big bag of add ons for it when I get home. So lets see what is out there and Ill post pics of mine..before and after...(once i get home that is :p)

Mine:

Addons:

Dlask Quad rail set
Promag 25rd magazines
Tasco Red Dot (Hate it, will replace with some kind of 1-4x scope i think)
Magual AFG2 knockoff grip

Recently added a 3/4" riser for the red dot, makes it much more comfortable to shoot now IMO.

Be aware that the dlask rails are quite heavy and add a lot of weight to the front of the rifle. Couple that with any additional accessories you put on it, it all adds up quickly.

I really want to add a bipod and light to mine, but I'm concerned about the further weight and balance effect on the rifle.

I would suggest considering going with a full top rail, a half bottom rail and quarter side rails if you dont need all the rail space. It would save a bit of weight, however, IMO doesnt look as good, which is why I went with the full rails all around.

The first gun I purchased (also my CPC Majority Victory gun bought on May 3rd 2011 at 00:01 AM :D !) was my Ruger SR-22:

The day I got it!

really didnt like the way the sr22 shouldered and was way to front heavy with the dlask rails and barrel so i stripped the nordic chassis and put it in a hogue stock. still wanted a simple plinker with basic sights so im running a utg rail and set of magpuls(s**tty cell pic)

factionrr..I agree they all are pretty similar..but I have yet to see the variation as to how I am building mine so that makes me feel like mine will be somewhat unique :p.. Guess you guys will just have to wait till im home to see it

Just wondering how much you guys have spent on upgrading you SR-22?
The gun itself is $600 bucks.
My friend then went on to buy 2 - 25 mags, 2 - 50 drums, dlask barrel, quad rail, covers and forgrip.
His total was over $1200

:D

When it comes to these SR22s, it's best to plan out your build before hand or you end spending a lot of money just getting it they way you want it. I probably spent over $1500 in accessories alone before getting my first build right.

I was going to post my current build, but I am still waiting on a barrel, and some RRA hardware before I show it off.

Nice build Utah!

Utah..looks great..How much people spend on the SR22 is crazy... I dont even have mine in hand yet and total is around a grand... I cant wait to post pics once i get back home and put it together :)

yes, the rifle was 600, add another 600 or so on upgrades. Doesn't even talk to me about adding optics to the total price.
If that is was people are spending on an SR-22. I guess me buying an AR-15 and buying a 22 upper for a total of just over $1200 and being able to shoot both .223 and .22 isn't so bad.

Ya that's cool...but the only issue with that is that it is still a restricted firearm. So you cant take it out to the back forty. I guess if you only go out to the range its OK...Mine will be sitting up a the girlfriends farm...im gonna ride around in the farm truck like a balla :p:shotgun:

Also, all my magpul gear, optic and flashlight (the big chunk of the worth) can go onto any firearm with a rail, which I plan to get eventually (mmmmmm XCR!), so in the end the price is ok for me.
