I've had better luck with my Black Dog drum than any ProMag drum I ever owned.
I don't think any of the hi cap drums come without (feeding) "issues" and by no means are they "plug-n-play".
It just took a LOT less tweeking to get the Black Dog on my side.

I'm a little worried about the zip-ties and sling too; the buckles and strap are cheap leftovers from the camping gear parts bin. I'm going to be replacing that whole assembly as soon as I find something I like.

I got off my butt and ordered a BFG Vickers sling from One Shot Tactical. Very quick service and a very impressive product! I went with coyote brown to offset the all-black of the rest of the rifle...

Does anybody know how to take the factory handgaurd off so i can replace it with the Dlask one i just baught?

Remove the one flathead and two hex screws on the underside of the handguards where they meet the receiver and just slide them off.
