Why cant one manufacture just make a mag that looks just like that eh??? Ugh...is it really that hard???
I love you short and balanced that mag looks with that SR22..my Promag is just too big and kinda looks funny on my SR..IMO

I know what you mean, I ended up taking my 9/22 out of its shell and going with the 9mm stick mag look ... and even then, when I am out at the range. I use my standard 10rd OEM mags more than it :D

From the looks of Dmitris .. that is a Promag waffle mag 10rd'r, glued to a 10rd rotary of course.

I think he said it was a SKS Tapco Mag..correct me if Im wrong...I would totally go for a mag exactly like this that you could just attach the factory 10 round too..they work flawless. There are enough SR22's out there that you would think someone could do it..Someone email Red Jacket and get them on it. OR Better Yet someone covince DLASK arms to do it right here in Canada. :p
 
How many times have we seen guys put a ton of money and effort into great builds only to sell them off soon after? I get it though. I have been working like crazy on my 10/22 navy build and am already thinking of selling it to fund my next project. Lol, this at the 75% complete stage.

It's the addiction of building them i guess.

I think everyone needs a .22 rifle, so you need to get it where you need to be and be happy with it.
 
Where can I get an auto bolt release from that isn't going to charge me an arm and a leg to ship? Seems like the in thing with companies is to automatically charge you $15, and that really doesn't cut it when mailing something that can go with a lettermail stamp for 60 cents..

Modifying your stock release is the cheapest and simplest way. Take a small file and take off the hook on the inside and slightly round the top. Bingo! Auto bolt release

Will take less than 10 minutes to do it yourself (yes, I timed myself) it you have the tools, including the takedown of the gun. I used a die grinder and a small file to alter the bolt lock.

so true.. I hope they see this and change their minds...its a rip when you buy something for $9 and it cost $30 with shipping

True That...its kind of unfortunate though... I think its all in finding what you really want out of your .22... If I could switch my SR for a Dlask 10/22 I prob would..not because I need too..but because I find the SR heavy and it takes away from the fun of a light .22... Bur for now I can shoot within a half inch at 75 yards with my factory barrel...Ill keep my SR for now :p
 
1. Buy dremmel tool from Crappy Tire. They can be had for a little as $12.99.
2. Dremmel stock release to look like the above photo posted.
3. Install in SR22.
4. Either return the dremmel to Crappy Tire or keep it.
5. Profit?
 
I did mine with hand files. didnt take long at all. screwed it to the wood work bench with the bottom hole and hung it over the edge of the bench. and another screw on each edge to keep it from pivoting. and went to work, took all of about 10 min
