Pin punch sizes for AR?

Anybody know what size pin punch I need to remove the trigger guard on my AR? Is it metric or imperial? Saves bringing the part to the shop to get it fitted. Thanks.

The punch I use is just less than 1/8"- 7/64ths to be exact. I don't know if this is a standard size as I turned mine up on the lathe. Anything 7/64ths or smaller should work. I think mine might just be less than 7/64ths by a hair from sanding it smooth.

As far as metric vs. standard goes if you could find a metric punch at about 2.5mm you should be good (1/8" is ~ 3mm). 3mm (or 1/8") seems a bit too big to fit but YMMV.

thanks. I tried some "improvised" chineese tools... I now have a small box of improvised pieces..figured its time to go get some mini punches.
