Hey guys finally took my Norc 305 out for a spin. She's a 2013 make.

I ran into 1 issue.

She fires the first 4 rounds splendid. But the last the round is either missed by the bolt and left in the mag loose or the rifle thinks its empty and the bolt stays fixed to the rear position. It even happened that after the fourth round she ejected the empty casing and the fifth unfired round too.

Strangest thing. She works great no stoppages at all just doesn't like that fifth and final round...

Any hints ?

sounds like a magazine ear geometry issue. Is the magazine issued with the rifle or a bought separately one? Only issue I had was new stock mag's with the rivet in side and black finish that needed the magazine ears massaged to the same geometry as older reliable nork mags. Do you have another mag to try or does it do this with any other magazine? Round sitting too low at back of mag from turned in lips will cause bolt to override it because of the lesser tension upward compared to the 5th and 3rd round. Magazine lips too wide at rear on last round allowing follower to rise far enough to trip bolt catch not allowing chambering of last round. Usually it should be one or the other in my mind. If you can't resolve with another mag to try, I'm close by and you can try some of my mag's or I can look at yours, just pm.
