Pinned mag question

So I got my first AR mags recently, and I've noticed that though they're supposedly pinned to 5, I can load 6 in there.

Just wondering what legal implications this has - I got a few, and they're all the same, so I think it's a fairly reasonable assumption that this is not out of the ordinary.

If I got inspected, could I get a hard time over the fact that they fit 6? If I load 6 into them at the range, would this be considered in any way sketchy?

Thanks.

Yes you could have trouble if some one can count and see's you load 6.They were probably pinned to take 5 1/2 rounds. That so you have abit of play. As long as the Gestapo can see they are pinned and no one has tampered with them you are probably ok. Only load 5 at any time.

Well, apart from when using my 10 capacity magazines, because hey, that makes sense :)

Take out the old pin and redo it so it only holds 5 , if you get caught with a mag that can hold more than 5 you will be in possession of a prohibited device , I know our laws are lame but thats what the law says , its not worth loosing all of your stuff over!
