Pissing in the woods!

New, yet to actually hunt hunter here. I've read some of the posts regarding scent blockers and such and it seems the consensus is that these are mostly not needed. But what about taking a leak anywhere near where you are hunting? Is that a complete no-no and guys piss in a bottle to bring home? Or...am I completely over thinking it and it really doesn't matter?

Maybe a goofy question, but I'm genuinely curious!

I'm fairly sure that deer don't care if it's human piss. Maybe if you're eating or drinking incredibly potent stuff it could alert them. But you can piss in a deer scrape and they'll walk up to it.

I peed from my tree stand. A little while later a doe stopped and had a good smell. Then kept going. Watched her through the grate. That doe didn't care

I sit in a open tree stand and do my business from the stand about 12ft up. Never an issue. I take deer every year. Took this guy after all day in the stand this year. Probably pissed 4-5 times before he came out.
