pistol accuracy

That is a very broad question.

Try limiting it to model, caliber, ammo used, type of sights etc etc.

The point I am making is that there are a lot more variables that just the make.

What is the most accurate pistol for the price ?

Glock
Sig
Beretta
............... or

Depends on "the price?".

SIG for example makes $1,000.00 guns, they make $2,000.00 guns and they make $3,000.00 + guns. Their $3,000.00 + guns (we have some) are up there with the most accurate handguns available.

S&W makes $650.00 guns and they make $2,500.00 guns and again, the S&W PPC 9's are amongst the most accurate handguns on the market.

Set a price ceiling and then re-ask your question.

The most accurate pistol is only as good as the person holding it. A crappy shot with a high end pistol will be beat by a proficient shooter with a modest pistol every time....

And if the gun itself has mediocre ability then the best shooter in the world will now be limited to mediocre results.

Most of the time you won't get a true answer. to make thing easlier, for example a 9mm gun among Glock, Sig and Beretta, You can have as low as $650 for Glock 17, $790 for a Beretta 90 two, and over 1K for a Sig 226, all NIB. They are all good gun and accurate, but in this case, I will pick a Glock 17.

If you are shooting at the 5/10 yards line... pretty much anything that you can see the sight will be accurate.

The further down range you move the target, the more $ (most likely) you'll have to spend to keep your shots on scores! Available budget and intent would go a long way in helping us make a proper recommendation...

For $75, this Drulov in 22lr will probably out shoot just about any other gun on the firing line... But it's not exactly the most tacticool looking pistol ;)

I have recently had a chance to shoot 5 of same 9mm pistols: B High Power, S&W M&P, CZ75B, HK USP and Glock 17 in one session where I went thru 40 rounds each.
Most accurate was BHP then CZ75B, G17 and the remaining two were the worst and didn't feel right in the hand at all. It actually could be the reason why.
The most comfy was CZ thou.

To 25 yards, most guns will shoot inside 4" black circle, off hand.
At least I can do this consistently with Glock, Sig and CZs.

Personal "best" in my opinion depends on sight picture, and how the gun
fits in your hand.

Find the gun that is easiest to shoot 4" grouping from 25 yards.
The easiest for YOU!

I think the sights are your critical component.
