As for "nobody seriously runs one", don't put any weight in that statement.
Often Units and Forces run what is cheaper or more popular, or what they have invested in rather than what is better. Lots of good guns out there and if you are running a Glock and along comes another "better" system, the decision must be made,
is it that much better that a change should be made. Considerations such as, Parts in inventory, holsters, mag pouches, all armorers already trained, the supply chain & troops already trained on one system come heavily into play. Asking individual
Officers / Operators what is better and they may agree, the SFP-9 or PPQ is better than a Glock. Better grip, more accurate ect.....but how much better? and worth the huge undertaking to change? Often this answer is probably not. What we currently have
works very well, meets our needs and isn't broke.
