I’m new to pistols and just got a P226 Legion.

What is the difference between American Eagle cartridges and Blaser Brass. The Blaser is obviously less expensive. Is the AE that much cleaner shooting compared to the Blaser?

AE is slightly cleaner. Not worth the extra 10$ though IMHO. If they are the same price I buy the AE but I’m not gonna pay a penny more for it.

Go for the Blazer, just ordered 2000 for $469 with free delivery from Tenda. Almost half the price Cabelas charges

I've shot both in 124gr .....can't really see a difference.

Blazer = Low QC - I have personally had primers fall out of ammo and I have talked to two different people that experienced squibs with it. I also had a batch with other branded and mixed brass (although it all went pew just fine).

AE = Better QC, never had an issue and never heard of any issues with it.

Personally, I will gladly pay the extra $10 per 1000 rounds to avoid having a squib or my primers fall out of a round in the middle of an IPSC match.

Never found a problem with the Blazers other than with my CZ at times.. so I would stick with the AE and keep the brass for reloading

My 2000 rounds from Tenda should be here quite shortly.
As with any ammo, inspect it as your loading your mags.

Same $hit different pile! There is no appreciable difference between most factory 9mm ammo.
