Did searches for a pistol armourer's block but kept getting articles about AR gas blocks.

Just wondering if anyone knows of a Canadian source for a pistol armourer's block?

Bad choice of keywords? Try again with "gunsmithing tool block" and you'll do a lot better. Another name for those is "gunsmith bench block".

Not a lot of gunsmithing supply outlets in Canada. You might find something you can use or you likely will need to order in from the US.

I made a few out of hockey pucks. Made a jig to hold them in place and created the V grooves on my table saw. I then drilled out holes of various sizes on my drill press. All in it was $4.00 for 3 pucks plus a hour of my time.

It's not hard to make your own bench block. Here's one I made to fit my Grand Power X-Caliburs. Just cutup and glue some 1x4 and 1/4x2 oak from Homedepot

Found some at rustywood... Got some oxpho blue cream and other goodies coming from them too. Just seen the ideas, great way to save a few dollars. Woulda went that route had I not already ordered a block. Good ideas!
