I thought it was the USA that said no to exporting.. AND at least one has made it across the border that i know of.

Could be. dharmaeye said in his post that the RCMP said nogo, so I just made an assumption based on that.

Out of longer barrel it would probably make a heck of a good short range varmint gun and well. I'm not sure if the 7.62x25 is inherently accurate or not though. Can you even get new manufacture commercial ammo?
