PISTOL CALIBER CARBINES

I think most people when referring to a PCC are thinking semi auto and not a lever action or bolt action
Maybe MRA or Kodiak Defense will come out with a tactical pump action or slide action 9mm in the future
I’d love one in 7.62x25
That might be what they used to think before everything got libtarded. Now we have what we have.

I kick myself for never buying a Tokarev when the pistol and 2k rounds could be had for like $400. But, I haven't seen surplus x25 in years, so I'm not sure if I'd want something chambered in it nowadays

Surplus is still available, I just found crates with a very quick search. 23 cents a round. Cheaper than 9mm still even if it went up... But what hasn't?

I would just buy brass cased tok ammo and reload it afterwards
But ya I’ve seen crates of surplus around, I’ve still got a half a crate from years back

If you're thinking semi auto and box mag fed.....

I think most people when referring to a PCC are thinking semi auto.......
along with the shooting games they are good for, ipsc/idpa style, steel challenge, etc
tough to do a reload on the clock with anything but a drop-mag

gun bans kill more than simple gun sales, they kill sport and recreation too, but does anyone care about personal freedoms and choices anymore.......

A bit of a strange question from a new member with next to zero posts ; but maybe I am just getting paranoid after 11 years of Liberal rule and gun bans .

JR Cox is having the SFSS look at the R9 with the actual physical firearm in their hands, instead of making a decision on what it looks like.

If you had to bet how do you suppose this will end?

If it gets unbanned I will buy one but I honestly cant see that happening.

Happy to be proved wrong on this occasion.

Why can a 22lr not count as a pcc if nobody ever specified 9mm?

I wouldn’t buy some overpriced thing that was made specifically to jump through Canadian hoops if there is no other reason you want it.

I bet the buyback fails completely, the amnesty keeps getting extended and eventually a conservative government will need to deal with the issue.

You could argue 22lr is a pistol caliber - obviously there are tons of 22lr handguns - but most people are thinking centerfire and larger bores when they say "pistol caliber".

There is no one single definition for PCC. If you want it to include 22lr rifles then it can. There is no hard line for what is and is not a pistol caliber, and the more you really look into it the more blurry that line becomes.

Or how about a 9mm 1873 threaded for muzzle attachments?

I bought one of those and it's a hoot. It likes to disassemble itself, however, so I had to locktite every bleeding screw. Unfortunately the extractor just broke - looks like the roll pin holding it in sheared, so I'm talking to Taylors about a fix. Bit disappointing in that I have no more than 600 rounds through it.

O'Dell said they were working on a 9mm when I asked them if they had considered a lever gun in 9mm or 10mm. They did not specify that it was a lever gun, though.

I asked Bullseye to find me one of the Marlin 1894's in 10mm - I have a lot of ammo left over after selling my 10mm pistols before the ban.

You know, I've had PCCs come and go over the years, and they all went - either the cheap plastic and alloy construction gave me zero pride of ownership, or they blew flaming bits of crap out the ejection port and into Lefties face here, or both. There's some real tactile pleasure in running a lever gun. Same as running a pump shotgun at skeet or sporting clays.
