Pistol Cleaning Problem

I like to clean the pistol barrels after shooting cast bullets.

I have a real nice Parker Hale pistol cleaning rod. It uses the same jags as my 30 cal rifle rod.

But I don't have a patch jag for 40 cal or 45 cal. I guess there must be ones made for 375 and 458 that would do the trick.

Anyone know a dealer selling Parker Hale jags?

Parker Hale items are getting very hard to find.

Dewey sells an adapter that allows the use of their jags on PH cleaning rods.

I bought one of these from Williams Arms in Port Perry.

Try getting a Lewis Lead Remover. Way faster and easier than scrubbing your heart out!! Also keep your loads down below 800 FPS, that will cut the leading down a lot.

As it happens, accuracy is best at lower velocities.
