Pistol Cleaning

Thanks again GB!! :) I'm more on board with the use of solvent. However, I'm not sure I agree with not cleaning the bore.

What gets me, the Sig video depicts using only oil, to lube the entire pistol, while many use grease. Go figure...........

it all depends on how badly you want to use the rod- aluminum is very soft and easy to take a section of aluminum or whatever and tap and die it to whatever the pitch is on the rod- then drill the other end for 8x32- shouldn't take more than 10 minutes or so- dewey also uses a oddball end on their rods, but they also sell an adaptor- or maybe the same adaptor I don't know- just use a press and drill so you get your holes CENTERED

I contacted Outers and they had one old, but new, adapter, in stock. They sent it to me No Charge :)
 
Nice! Good costumer service. I have never used grease on my pistols or rifles but I am going to test it sooner or later.
