Pistol dealer in edmonton?

Heading to edmonton at the end of the month and I was just wondering if there is anywhere but wholesale sports to look for a new pistol?
 
Forget the rest-go to the best. P&D ; visited their store for the first time at the first of July. Very good staff, well stocked and just shooting gear...no fishing equipment or camping stuff. ANd I mean that as a compliment-
Met another "nutz" there but for the life of me I cant remember his user name.
Funny when I arrived at the cashier and she asked for my postal code and already started the first 3 digits of Edmontons PC...told her N5####; probably could have won the contest for "farthest customer travelled prize":D
Also went to 2 Wholesale sports out there just to said " I did" . Again nice stores but no P&D.

P&D is by far the best I have been to in Edmonton. Even if I were to find the same gun at one of the other shops for slightly less, I would still buy it at P&D. They are great to deal with and service is top notch.
 
P&D is my favourite, Phoenix Range & Gun Shop Ltd and Wild West are worth a look too, don't waste your time going to Milarm.
 
I lived in Northern AB until 1992, and Edmonton used to be the Mecca of handgunners. There used to be 3 dealers on the same block as P&D. It's still the best city to shop for any type of firearm. I bought a handgun from P&D a couple of years ago, and had good service. I bought it in the store, but had to have it shipped, because of the delay in licensing. I've dealt with Milarm, but not for a handgun. They have good service too, but not a big handgun dealer. Wild West is a bit quirky, to put it politely. The manager told me my 10 mm is a "weird" calibre. I don't quite get that comment. They seem to be focused on M&P type handguns. Wholesale Sports has 2 stores now. If you don't mind big box stores WS is okay.

One thing I like about Edmonton gun dealers, they seem to view buying a gun as a normal activity. Nobody looks at you like you're some sort of crazy person. Can't say the same about Calgary. Buying a gun there is almost like buying herpes medicine from a female pharmacist.
 
Check Milarm large selectiom of used handguns and yes buying any type of firearm in Edmonton is a normal activity it is the kind of buying atmosphere that Calgary had 20 years ago
