Good to see another ex-Pat's on the board!
For your better half... You have many options.
1. Go for the His & Her's set... You get a Browning, she gets a Browning... It is a good excuse to buy backup guns. (Used it myself this weekend, a second K31, so that we can shoot on the same relay...)
2. Separate (different) center fire / rimfire pistols.
3. Center fire + 22lr conversion kit. Such as the CZ75, 1911, Glock 17...
4. Keep buying stuff until she finds something she like... (Sounds good in theory, but might come back to bite you in reality... when she adopt what you tought was going to be your new Hammerli...)
Ho well, have fun and take good care of her! A shooting mate is worth her weight in gold.
