Pistol Grip Stock for Remington 870 Express

Google Numrich Gun Parts (not a site sponsor, a US company that ships here), all the Remington factory stocks you want - like the above one in black, which I plan on ordering in the future. I bought a walnut police stock off them in the past, no complaints and was shipped pretty quick.

I got one from Accuracy Plus here in Peterborough. Made by ATI ,( Advanced Technologies, Inc.) Paid $114 + tax. All the parts/adapters are there to use it on the 870, Mossberg 500/590, and the Winchester 1200/1300. The only complaint is that it comes with a rubber butt pad; I'm going to get a Limbsaver to fit on to it.

Have you tried Fabsports? They've got the ATI ones listed for $69.95.

Meese Rancher, I personally prefer the ergonomics of a pistol grip stock over anything else, My Supernova tactical has one very similar to the Factory Rem one and it is perfect for me. Nice comfortable cheek weld and it puts the sights at the perfect level. Are you a bigger guy? I ask because the ATI stocks use a rather small pistol grip. My benelli and looks like that Remington stock too both use a larger SAW style grip that is more comfortable for me, Just more there to grasp. That being said I would still buy the ATI for another shotgun. For the price, both ATI stocks I've owned have been respectable quality, not top notch but they fit good and match the receiver well, so they get my vote. Have fun and let us know how it works out.

Thanks, good site, but their stocks dont include the recoil pad, which I see you can buy separate, or the hardware to attach it. Id rather buy it all at once. Plus they dont have the speedfeed IV in black, just the III version with slots for shells. They do have probably the cheapest prices ive seen yet that ships here. Do you know how much shipping is roughly? And did you pay duties or import taxes?

Ya, I am a larger guy, so I would need a larger grip. I was researching and found that ati one, but from the pics it looks like theres a space between the receiver and the top of the pistol grip behind the trigger, is that the case on your shotguns?

Get the Choate pistol grip. They're an awesome stock. Do a search on here for one.

Thanks for the suggestion, checked em out. I dont really like it when they are grooved like that for each finger, prefer a flat grip.

I remember the shipping to be surprisingly cheap, probably under $10 and no duties paid. I live in Toronto FWIW.

Cool, good to know. Have you bought a stock from them? If so where did you get the hardware to attach it?

I bought a walnut police stock and love it. It came with a recoil pad but I had to order the stock attachment bolt from brownells later because I wasn't aware wood stocks have different attachment bolt lengths than the synthetic stocks.

I checked out brownells, they have some cool stocks to with the mounting hardware and seem to be a bit cheaper than numrich, only question is, whats the shipping cost or import duties from brownells? Do you remember what you paid, where there import taxes?

Saw some of the Speedfeed ones at P&D on Friday, I think they were under $100, plus you get a matching forend. P.S. Speedfeed makes the ones Remington uses.

Speedfeed or nothing.. I've had the Choate and ATI versions, and they are JUNK compared to the speedfeed. Speedfeed IV with Rem R3 recoil pad - that's what you want.

Sorry, what is P&D, I am not familiar with them. And that is a good price, ive seen them online for 120 plus.

I had found this site from another post here, http://ajshotgun.com/ I am wondering if anyone has bought from them, is it legit, safe? They seem to be the only site that will ship to canada and they have speedfeed IV for only $75. Great price
